Over the past 24 months, 75 million acres have been burned by wildfires, an unprecedented scale. In response, $2.5 billion has been committed for wildfire infrastructure over the next 18 months in Canada and Government procurement on all levels has been accelerated due to climate emergency. Yes, there is limited supplier awareness which creates a material, first-mover advantage.

To solve this, Resilience Tech North has been asked to create Canada’s first centralized hub to accelerate the adoption and integration of the most effective wildfire mitigation, prevention and adaptation technologies at scale. The goal is to help Canadian government, political, and procurement teams at all levels to easily understand and access the most innovative wildfire resilience and mitigation technologies currently only the market.
